What Changes When a Small App Becomes a Real Product?
This editable sample is a starting point for a future personal article. It does not describe a published experience.
A small app can begin with one useful question. The interesting work starts when that answer needs to survive a second use, a different day, or someone else’s habits.
The feature is only the beginning
Turning a useful sketch into a product is less about adding features than making decisions visible. What happens when the input is empty? What can a person undo? Which moments deserve a gentle nudge, and which should remain quiet?
Care becomes part of the interface
Good product work includes the edges: readable language, comfortable defaults, clear ownership of data, and a way back when something goes wrong. Those details are not decoration. They are the product’s memory.
